The Olduvai hand axe it was in Olduvai Gorge Tanzania. The axe was made about green volcanic rock the lava represents a tradition of tool-making which began about 1.6 million years ago.

The makers of handaxes are the first humans to spread across Africa into Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Alcohol Myths

Mythbusters is one of my all time favorite shows, in this in this episode Adam, Jamie, and Carie are testing the myth beer goggles witch is if you getting drunk change your perspective of the person.
Carie, Grant, and troy are testing the yacht witch is an ancient arrow launcher that could shoot 200 arrow at once and that they are going to be testing.

The Mythbusters test myths to see if they are true or false.

At the end of the episode  Adam, Jamie, and Carie had there prospective change after they got drunk, and for Carie, Grant, and Troy tested the yacht but was posible under the right surcustances it could work.

Pictures

These are the photos I took this morning during our Photography Lab.

I thought this ball would make an interesting photography subject because it shows dimension.

I wanted to capture a ball flying through the air.

There's no Toilet Paper on the Road Less Taken, but fortunately, there are plenty of dead leaves. They work too!

SAT Essay: Do like people get along?

Think carefully about the issue presented in the following excerpt and the assignment below.

Common sense tells us that people tend to get along better with those who are like them, who think and act as they do. Many people, however, get along very well with people who are very different from them and may prefer to associate with those whose views and actions are different from their own. In fact, some people even complain that they are bored and irritated by those who are too much like them.

ASSIGNMENT:

Do people tend to get along better with people who are very different from them or with those who are like them? Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.

ESSAY:

I think it is easier to get along with people who have different interests than you because it gives you more to talk about. While having a similar personality or mindset helps you get along better with people, you don't necessarily have to have the same interests.

I once became friends with someone because we both had an interest in film. Over time, we both lost some of our interest in film, but our friendship continued because we had similar personalities - we're both gamers!

While gaming is considered an interest, it is also a way of being:

Use the controller, Luke!
I am your hard drive!

When you make friends with someone who has different interests than you do, there's never a quiet moment! Having plenty to think and talk about with your friends is one of cornerstones of building a happy friendship.
